Die zweite Generation des Hyundai Tucson (in seinem Heimatmarkt auch als Tucson ix und in Europa als ix35 bekannt) wurde erneut in Südkorea gesichtet.
Der ix35 wurde 2009 als Ersatz für den Tucson in Europa eingeführt und erhielt letztes Jahr ein leichtes Facelift (nur neue Scheinwerfer mit Tagfahr-LED, neue Rückleuchten, verbesserte NVH und bessere Innenraumqualität), während das komplett neue Modell voraussichtlich Ende 2015 als Modelljahr 2016 erscheinen wird.
Wir erwarten keine großen Änderungen im Design, es wird die neueste Hyundai-Designsprache „Fluidic Sculpture 2.0“ enthalten, die wir bereits in der aktuellen Genesis-Limousine und der nächsten Sonata gesehen haben.
Neben diesen Außenaufnahmen berichten unsere neuesten Quellen, dass der Hyundai Tucson der dritten Generation den 1,6-Liter-Turbobenziner mit Direkteinspritzung (T-GDi) erhalten wird, der mit einem 7-Gang-Doppelkupplungsgetriebe (DCT) kombiniert wird. Das neue Interieur-Design soll sich am Santa Fe orientieren.

4 KommentareI have such high hopes for the next IX35 (and Sportage as well). Current version looks a very feminin with its oddly sized wheels and tall side profile. I hope the new IX35 gets its inspiration from the short wheelbase Santa Fe which is one of the most masculine and mean looking SUVs in the market.
The interior has the potential to look very premium if the finishes are right. Outside of the odd headlights, I like what I'm seeing thus far. Good Work Hyundai!
The powertrain improvements should give the 2016 Tucson more off-the-line power, resulting in much better throttle response and gear ratios. On the other hand, it would be a coup for Hyundai if it could also boost Tucson's fuel economy which in my opinion is holding it back from leading in this segment.
The current Tucson looks so stupid that it is a deal breaker.
