El renovado Kia cee’d ha sido fotografiado por primera vez realizando pruebas cerca del Círculo Polar Ártico.
Lanzado en 2012, la segunda generación del cee’d fue diseñada e ingeniada en Europa para el mercado europeo y está disponible con una selección de motores de gasolina MPi y GDi. También hay disponibles motores diésel CRDi. Asimismo, existe una gama deportiva GT que emplea el 1.6 T-GDi con 201 CV.
Las fotos espía no permiten descubrir diferencias significativas respecto al modelo actual, pero se aprecian parachoques delantero y trasero diferentes, así como un nuevo diseño para los antiniebla. El cee’d ya está bastante cubierto con vinilo protector y no permite ver todos los detalles.
Tampoco hay indicios sobre la gama de motores, que podría seguir aprovechando la actual e introducir un nuevo 1.0 Kappa TCi de tres cilindros y gasolina con turbo que rinde 106 CV, así como una mayor disponibilidad del cambio automático de doble embrague de siete velocidades (DCT) inicialmente para los motores diésel. Se espera un 1.2 T-GDi con 130 CV.

It seems that 2015 (and surely upcoming years) will be KIAs Year. So many new models , facelifts , high quality interiors, petrol (and diesel) turbo engines, electric and hydrogene transmissions at the same time. That shows that the Asian Tiger Attack has begun. I knew it from the day that i cared for KIA. Of course it will still take a little time but then they will make it to the top, for the passion of building quality cars and customers satisfaction.
Any news on the Pro Cee'd GT and Cee'd GT being fitted with the 7 speed DCT transmission with the update? Manual only Cee'd GT models is killing the car sales success in markets outside of Europe where manuals sell in tiny numbers compared to automatics.
