기아 씨드의 부분변경 모델이 북극권 근처에서 테스트 중 처음으로 포착됐다.
2012년 출시된 2세대 씨드는 유럽 시장을 위해 유럽에서 디자인 및 엔지니어링됐으며, MPi 및 GDi 가솔린 엔진을 선택할 수 있다. CRDi 디젤 엔진도 제공된다. 또한 1.6 T-GDi 엔진(201마력)을 탑재한 GT 스포츠 라인업도 있다.
스파이샷을 통해 현재 모델과의 큰 차이점을 발견할 수는 없지만, 전후면 범퍼와 안개등 디자인이 변경된 것을 확인할 수 있다. 씨드는 이미 보호 비닐로 상당 부분 덮여 있어 모든 디테일을 확인할 수는 없다.
엔진 라인업에 대한 정보도 아직 없다. 현재 라인업을 그대로 유지하거나, 1.0 Kappa TCi 3기통 터보 가솔린(106마력)을 새로 도입하고, 디젤 엔진에 7단 DCT를 확대 적용할 가능성이 있다. 1.2 T-GDi(130마력)도 기대된다.

It seems that 2015 (and surely upcoming years) will be KIAs Year. So many new models , facelifts , high quality interiors, petrol (and diesel) turbo engines, electric and hydrogene transmissions at the same time. That shows that the Asian Tiger Attack has begun. I knew it from the day that i cared for KIA. Of course it will still take a little time but then they will make it to the top, for the passion of building quality cars and customers satisfaction.
Any news on the Pro Cee'd GT and Cee'd GT being fitted with the 7 speed DCT transmission with the update? Manual only Cee'd GT models is killing the car sales success in markets outside of Europe where manuals sell in tiny numbers compared to automatics.
