Recientemente, tuvimos la oportunidad de probar la segunda generación del compacto europeo del segmento C de Hyundai, el i30. Pero hasta ahora, Hyundai solo ha lanzado el i30 5 puertas y el i30 familiar, mientras que el i30 3 puertas, más deportivo, se mantiene en secreto.
Miembros del club de fans coreano del Hyundai i30 han captado recientemente un prototipo del i30 3 puertas durante su última sesión de pruebas de preserie. Observando de cerca las fotos espía, parece que Hyundai ha dotado al i30 3 puertas de una identidad propia, lo que se traduce en un diseño exterior más agresivo.
Según el jefe de Hyundai Europa, Allan Rushforth, el fabricante coreano está considerando una variante deportiva, con el motor 1.6 de inyección directa de gasolina con turbo (T-GDi), utilizado en el Veloster Turbo (que también llegará a Europa), con unos 180-190 CV. Pero ahora, me surge una pregunta: ¿podría este i30 deportivo ser un rival para el Veloster Turbo?

There is one thign i don't understand - what for is Veloster turbo in Europe? No chance against i30... And why i30 will not be truth hot hatch - with over 8 sec 0-100... max warmed hatch:)

is not a 3 door i30, just see the frame (2nd door) behind of the pilot door, same size than first door! and see a picture of the 3door Rio that hasn't 2nd door frame in the rear glass.
