Récemment, nous avons eu l'occasion d'essayer la deuxième génération de la compacte européenne de Hyundai, l'i30. Mais jusqu'à présent, Hyundai n'a lancé que l'i30 5-portes et le break i30, tandis que la version 3-portes plus sportive est encore tenue secrète.
Des membres du club de fans coréen de la Hyundai i30 ont récemment surpris un prototype de l'i30 3-portes lors de ses derniers essais de pré-production. En regardant attentivement les photos espion, il semble que Hyundai ait donné à l'i30 3-portes une identité distincte, ce qui se traduit par un style extérieur plus agressif.
Selon le patron de Hyundai Europe, Allan Rushforth, le constructeur coréen envisagerait une variante sportive, avec le 1.6 essence à injection directe et turbo (T-GDi), utilisé dans la Veloster Turbo (qui arrive aussi en Europe), développant environ 180-190 ch. Mais maintenant, une question se pose : cette i30 sportive pourrait-elle rivaliser avec la Veloster Turbo ?

There is one thign i don't understand - what for is Veloster turbo in Europe? No chance against i30... And why i30 will not be truth hot hatch - with over 8 sec 0-100... max warmed hatch:)

is not a 3 door i30, just see the frame (2nd door) behind of the pilot door, same size than first door! and see a picture of the 3door Rio that hasn't 2nd door frame in the rear glass.
