Hyundai N Racing Simulator: Bringing High-Performance Driving to the Virtual World

Hyundai Motor Company has officially announced the launch of the Hyundai N Racing Simulator, a cutting-edge virtual driving platform designed to replicate the raw, high-performance experience of the N brand. Developed in collaboration with global industry leaders, this simulator bridges the gap between digital gaming and real-world track driving.

A Collaboration of Tech Giants

To ensure an unparalleled level of realism, Hyundai partnered with a powerhouse lineup of tech and gaming experts:

  • LG Electronics & Sony: Providing elite visual displays and hardware.

  • Logitech G: Delivering professional-grade racing peripherals.

  • Next Level Racing: Designing the structural cockpit.

Powered by the Gran Turismo 7 engine on PlayStation, the simulator uses physics based on actual vehicle data to recreate the distinct driving dynamics that define the Hyundai N brand.

Two Tiers of Virtual Performance: PRO and RACER

The simulator is available in two configurations to meet different user needs:

Both models feature the Logitech G RS50 System Racing Wheel, which utilizes "TRUEFORCE" haptic feedback and a Direct Drive motor capable of 8N·m torque, paired with precision RS Pedals for a lifelike braking feel.

From Virtual Tracks to the Asian Games

The Hyundai N Racing Simulator has already proven its mettle as professional-grade equipment. It served as the official sim-racing gear for the South Korean national team selection for the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, where Gran Turismo 7 is a featured eSports event.

In the qualifiers held on May 8th, athlete Kim Young-chan secured the top spot and will represent the nation in the upcoming Asian Games this September. The competition featured the Avante N TCR and the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo. Other iconic models, such as the IONIQ 5 N, are also available in-game, with more models expected through continued collaboration with the Gran Turismo franchise.

Accessibility and Availability

Hyundai is making the simulator accessible through various touchpoints:

  • Experience Zones: Units will be showcased at "Hyundai N Festival" booths and Hyundai Motorstudios.

  • Priority Sales: Initial limited quantities will be available to "The Nthusiast" (Hyundai N paid membership) members, with plans to expand sales channels later.

"The Hyundai N Racing Simulator was developed so that the emotion and joy of driving an N car can be felt in a virtual space," said a Hyundai representative. "Sim-racing is a platform that allows people to experience Hyundai without the constraints of time or space. We will continue to use it to communicate with customers and contribute to the growth of domestic motorsports culture."
