Its been some years since Hyundai has stopped their motorsport program in the USA but this year they are coming back and they did it with the right foot.
During the practice/qualifying race, Kia Racing made its presence known by the Kinetic Motorsports Wright Automotive Group Forte Koup clocking a 2:33.640 making it the second fastest TCA lap driven by Kris Wright. This was a sure sign of good things to come for Kia Racing, and an ominous warning to competitors that they should not be underestimated.
