Hyundai Motor Company has officially unveiled the exterior and interior design of its next-generation compact SUV, "The All-New Tucson."
Marking the vehicle's first full redesign in approximately six years since the launch of the fourth-generation model in September 2020, the fifth-generation Tucson establishes a bolder, more muscular stance while delivering class-leading interior volume and practical user-centric innovations.
1. 'Art of Steel' Design Philosophy: Muscular Stance Meets Futuristic Lighting
The All-New Tucson brings Hyundai’s "Art of Steel" design philosophy to life, reinterpreting the natural tension and strength of steel into a confident, next-generation SUV profile.
Exterior Highlights
Illuminated Front Fascia: Inspired by architectural lighting, the front incorporates vertical H-Edge Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) alongside an ultra-slim horizontal center lamp. The center light utilizes indirect illumination—concealing the direct light source from the outside—to project a soft, ambient glow that accentuates the vehicle's sculpted, three-dimensional surfaces.
Sculpted Profile: Volumetric side fenders and rear doors create crisp contrasts of light and shadow. A sharp, horizontal character line extends across the body, reinforcing the SUV's athletic posture and structural rigidity.
Prism Rear Lighting: The rear features 3D-projected prism taillights. When activated, intricate internal light patterns emerge, adding depth and visual refinement.
Harmonized Rear Stance: A slim horizontal center tail lamp mirrors the front styling, while vertical rear combination lamps, a bold rear bumper, and a rugged skid plate emphasize road-hugging stability.

2. Expanded Dimensions and Class-Leading Cabin Space
The fifth-generation Tucson has grown across nearly every dimension compared to its predecessor, significantly enhancing passenger comfort, rear-seat ergonomics, and cargo flexibility:
Overall Length: 4,700 mm (an increase of 60 mm)
Overall Width: 1,905 mm (an increase of 40 mm)
Overall Height: 1,685 mm
Wheelbase: 2,785 mm (an extended wheelbase of +30 mm)
Second-Row Headroom: 1,031 mm (up by 29 mm for generous passenger clearance)
Second-Row Door Opening Angle: Expanded from 73 degrees to 83 degrees, providing effortless ingress, egress, and easier installation of child seats.
3. High-Tech, Ergonomic Interior Architecture
The interior is engineered around visual openness, intuitive controls, and smart everyday utility.
Floating Dashboard Architecture: A horizontal design line connecting the left and right air vents creates a floating upper and lower crash pad aesthetic, significantly expanding the perceived cabin width.
Digital Cockpit: A large center touchscreen display provides intuitive access to vehicle controls and infotainment, while a slim digital cluster and a Double-D-cut steering wheel minimize driver distraction.
Smart Storage & Everyday Convenience:
Dedicated driver-side card holder integrated beside the left air vent for quick access.
Palm-rest hidden storage tray and modular luggage add-gear accessories.
Dual wireless charging system enabling simultaneous high-speed charging for two smartphones.

Curated Color Palette
Exterior Colors (8 Options): Includes five brand-new shades: Serenity White Pearl, Driftwood Grey Matte, Driftwood Grey Metallic, Redrock Orange Matte, and Goyo Copper Pearl.
Interior Schemes (4 Options): Classic Black Monotone plus three new two-tone packages: Mud Grey / Dove Grey, Black / Sand Beige, and Black / Inlay Soil Brown.
4. Dedicated Tucson XRT: Maximized Off-Road Attitude
For outdoor enthusiasts, Hyundai introduced the rugged Tucson XRT trim, distinguished by purpose-built exterior armor and trail-ready utility.
Rugged Front & Rear Styling: Features a wide, rectangular XRT-exclusive front grille, bold skid plates, and dedicated heavy-duty rear bumpers.
Forged Carbon-Inspired Armor: Protective black wheel arch garnishes wrap firmly around the lower body, featuring intricate texturing inspired by high-strength forged carbon composites.
Blackout Accents: Equipped with XRT badging, dark window daylight opening (DLO) moldings, and dedicated off-road alloy wheels.
Adventure-Ready Interior: XRT-exclusive patterned seating, dark metal trim accents, all-weather floor protection mats across both rows, and a touch-activated LED lamp built into the tailgate for effortless nighttime loading.
