Official debut of the 2012 Kia Ray in South Korea.

Kia’s “keicar” codenamed “Tam” (finally, named RAY) it’s ready to debut in South Korea, and here we have the evidence. To everyone’s surprise, today we can watch the first pics of the exterior complete naked.

The Kia RAY are available with a Kappa engine 1.0-liter and 78 hp only disposable with a four speed automatic gearbox. Which will be sold exclusively in the company’s home market of Korea.

Bypassing its boxy shape that is reminiscent of the Scion xB and Nissan Cube models, one of the highlights of the new Ray is the sliding passenger side rear door that promises to enable easier passenger entry and exit in tight parking spaces, as well as to provide room for bulky cargo. Interestingly, the Ray features a regular rear door on the driver’s side of the vehicle. Kia adds that its new tall city car has a highly versatile interior space for both passengers and cargo.

Kia has structured range are available into four trim levels, the most complete range including a heated steering wheel, automatic climate control, navigation system, heated seats, alloy wheels, keyless entry system , USB port, MP3, Bluetooth, folding mirrors, trip computer, six airbags, electronic stability control, parking sensor, and more.
