As you know, Kia Motors Europe has revealed the new generation Kia Optima at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show the past September, and now we have the first details for the European market.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]Boasting a modern new exterior, the new Optima has a bold and refined interior design with more space for every passenger, an array of new technologies, and much more besides.

Due to go on sale across Europe in Q4 2015, the all-new Kia Optima features evolutionary design and an array of new cutting-edge technologies and is now available in Germany, with an starting price of 24,990€ with the 2.0 CVVl 163 hp petro engine.

Inside, it offers a refined new interior with top-quality materials and more space for every passenger. The new generation Kia Optima guarantees a smooth ride and more agile handling while retaining its original sporty image.

Other virtues of this fourth-generation Optima include the 50% stronger bodyshell, thanks to the use of high strenght steel in addition to a range of powerful new active safety features.

There is a choice of gasoline and upgraded diesel engines, like the 2.0-liter mentioned (nothing about the 1.6 Turbo GDi with 175 hp) and an upgraded 1.7 diesel CRDi delivering 141 hp, with lower emission levels made possible thanks to the advanced seven-speed double-clutch transmission (DCT). Other advanced technologies include wireless phone charging and connected services. The diesel engine is available from 26990€.

The top of the range will be the “GT-badged” model, with 2.0-liter Turbo GDi 245 hp engine. For German market there are available 5 ranges,with the Edition7, Vision & Spirit, plus the Business & Business Supreme.
