Aujourd'hui, nous partageons avec vous de nouvelles photos espion du Kia Sportage 2016 (code QL) grâce à notre follower Jimbo ;).
Les dernières informations situent les débuts en septembre, quelques mois après le lancement du nouveau Tucson.
Le nouveau Kia Sportage 2016 ressemblera beaucoup au design présenté sur le Kia KX3, réservé à la Chine, surtout à l'avant. À l'intérieur, le Sportage suivra ce que nous avons déjà vu dans le nouveau Sorento. Selon le rapport, l'équipe de design de Kia a déjà finalisé le design du Sportage.
À l'avant de ce prototype, on peut voir une calandre « Tiger-nose » tridimensionnelle plus grande entre des projecteurs enveloppants et des feux à LED en glaçon, comme dans le nouveau Sorento ou la pro_cee'd GT, mais en même temps, Kia a utilisé la même solution sur la K5 Modern en ajoutant trois LED sphériques dans les phares. À l'arrière, des feux LED redessinés seront associés à des feux de recul et indicateurs séparés, comme sur le modèle actuel.
Côté motorisations, la boîte à double embrayage à 7 rapports sera disponible au lancement, aux côtés d'un choix de moteurs essence à injection directe et diesel, ainsi que de petits moteurs turbo. Côté diesel, le 1.7 CRDi amélioré de 131 ch pourrait être le plus demandé sur le marché européen. Côté essence, le 1.6 GDi sera le moteur de base, tandis qu'une variante turbo offrira plus de puissance pour la version européenne. Quant à un tout nouveau petit moteur turbo, le 1.2 T-GDi de 132 ch n'est pas encore confirmé.
La gamme sud-coréenne se limitera au 1.7 CRDi disponible avec la boîte DCT 7 rapports et au 2.0 CRDi diesel, ainsi qu'à un moteur 2.0 T-GDi.

I would like to know what this Niro prototype is all about. There are rumours about a hybrid chubby Ceed. There is also the possibility of it being a less ugly KX3. C pillar looks like KX3. But I'm hoping its front grill will have a redesign for Europe. We'll find out in a few months.

The best looking KIA front ( and anything else) at the moment is the new Sorentos front. It has the most beautiful headlights showing beauty and seriousness at the same time. That kind of fronts is what KIA needs for all the other models. And then look to KIAs top ranking in terms of selling figures
Kia designers probably wanted to do something different, but the Sportage will go from being one of the best looking smaller CUVs to one that is polarizing.
Couldn't agree more. I've been planing to upgrade my new Ceed to either the 2016 Sportage or the new Tucson. I would have loved to stay with KIA. But I'm worried that the new Sportage will be a Porsche knockoff rather than the original and unique SUV that it is today. I'm so glad the new Tucson looks the way it does (mini Santa Fe). Will leave the final decision until I see the next Sportage up close. But I'm not holding my breath.
As i already wrote here: Even your posted picture of the Rio JBs front looks better then the new Optimas front and of course the KX3 front.
