Today we have the first official pictures of the KX3 Concept, a preview of the KC production model revealed today at the 2014 Guangzhou AutoShow.
Ready to debut during 2015 we don’t have more details from the car apart that is codenamed as KC. This mini Kia SUV is expected to have the same wheelbase of the ix25 (2,570 mm).
This Kia mini SUV maybe use the same engines than his brother. The ix25 is currently available on the Chinese market with two petrol engines (Gamma MPi 1.4 and 1.6 with 90 and 126 hp, the 2.0 MPi is top-spec variant).
Probably also include two diesel CRDi engines, from the U2 family, the 1.4 & 1.6 with 90 and 110 hp. The concept uses a 1.6 Turbo GDi delivering 201 hp.
Looking at the pictures, the car looks like a small Sportage, using same style-designed taillights, fenders. Any details transcend about the markets where it will available. Stay tuned for more details soon!

6 commentsUff.. viendolo me gusta aunque la ''Tiger nose'' me recuerda mucho a la boca del Guasón, no a ningún otro modelo ni nada, el trabajo que se realiza en KIA es impresionante e increíble también se ve el esfuerzo y las horas para que nos deleiten con su primer B-SUV aunque por cierto lleva el apellido Concept nada más. Hey Osvaldo! Pues si, este modelo tendra un modelo de produccion y bastante parecido al concept, quitando faros led y demas. El modelo definitivo ya lleva un tiempo rodando por Corea del Sur con camuflaje. Pincha en el Tag "KC" y veras mas sobre este modelo! Saludos y gracias por leernos!
Awful. It's like Citroen cactus. But uglier. And we all know how that worked out for Citeoen. I really hope the next Sportage takes zero cues from this.
Not bad looking. Kia gets more and more perfect. I grew up with Kias development. Ist getting the best brand in the world in my opinion. Practical sharp looking cars for reasonable prices.I only wish Optima Kombi and Kia Cargo for European market.

Please be aware that this is just a concept car. The real KC will surely be Gangnam Style. And the concept is definitely not like Citroen Cactus.
