어제 26장의 갤러리를 통해 신형 쏘렌토를 소개한 데 이어, 오늘은 최초의 공식 실내 사진을 다시 한 번 공개한다.
3세대 기아 쏘렌토의 실내는 모던한 랩어라운드 대시보드, 고품질 소프트 터치 소재, 다양한 첨단 기술 덕분에 세그먼트 내 럭셔리 기준을 한 단계 끌어올렸다.
실내 디자인은 독일 프랑크푸르트에 위치한 기아 디자인 팀이 주도했으며, 디자인 단계에서 최고급 스위스 시계를 주요 영감으로 인용했다. 부드럽게 곡선을 이룬 실내는 소프트 터치 소재, 가죽, 스티칭의 비중을 높였으며, 기아의 최신 HMI(인간-기계 인터페이스)도 적용됐다.
대형 인포테인먼트 화면이 대시보드 중앙을 차지하며, 길고 유려한 형상으로 운전자와 동승자를 감싸고 넓어진 실내의 폭과 공간감을 강조한다.

Interior looks great to me. Main difference I can see from the official teaser sketch which was released a couple of weeks back is the shape of the gear shift lever - the sketch showed a more modern, streamlined design - this looks fairly similar to the previous model. Will be interesting to see if this photo is representative of what gets officially revealed in the coming weeks.
