오늘 기아가 중국 시장에 출시할 KX3 양산형의 첫 공식 사진이 공개되었다. 중국 전용 소형 터보 SUV는 한 달 전 2014 광저우 오토쇼에서 콘셉트로 선보인 바 있다.
이 차량은 블루-화이트 투톤 도장을 적용했다. KX3는 현대 ix25와 동일한 휠베이스(2,570mm)를 가진다. 콘셉트와 비교하면 양산형은 새로운 안개등 디자인을 적용했다.
이 기아 미니 SUV는 형제 모델과 동일한 엔진을 사용하지만, 1.6 터보 GDi 엔진(200마력)이 선택 가능하다는 점이 다르다. 이 엔진은 옵션으로 최신 7단 DCT와 조합될 수 있다.
또한 가까운 시일 내에 U2 엔진 패밀리의 1.4리터(90마력) 및 1.6리터(110마력) 디젤 CRDi 엔진 라인업이 추가될 가능성이 높다.
사진을 보면 이 차량은 소형 스포티지처럼 보이며, 동일한 스타일의 테일램프와 펜더를 사용했지만, 최신 시트로엥 모델(전면부)과도 유사한 점이 있다.

Oh, oh oh. I wouldnt tell chinese products a junk. I have so many quality chinese low price products in the house that old getting europeans should get nervous, like some do nowadays. Take Kia as an example: Ten years ago no one in europe took asian KIA serious. Now the european carmakers are full of sweat at night. Ok the front design is maybe chinese taste but as KIA leads the project the rest has to be high quality. Asian products get more and more reliable, but as for cars KIA is my favourite brand except for this china only front.
I don´t thik the front design is bad. It is conceptually agressive just as the Juke was.
I would have integrated the led lights into the headlamps. That would have been great. Maybe an idea for the european model.
After you showed this front from the Cross GT, I didn't realize it even came from this concept. I agree, get rid of the fog lights.
