China: Hyundai Unveils Production Version of The Mistra

At the Chengdu Motor Show, Hyundai has been unveiled the production version of his Beijing Joint Venture sedan, the Mistra. With a Chinese name, Hyundai Mingtu, was shown as a concept at the 2013 Shangai Motor Show in April.

Hyundai will put the Mistra between the Elantra and Sonata when it goes available at the dealers later this year. Hyundai will offer the Mistra with two engine options – a 1.8-liter petrol and a 2.0-liter petrol. Also a 6-speed automatic and a 6-speed manual gearbox be availables as the transmission options.

The Hyundai Mistra measures 4,710mm in length, 1,820mm in width and 1,470mm in height with a wheelbase spanning 2,770mm. Made exclusively for the Chinese market, the Mistra gets a new China-exclusive ‘Frost Green’ body color (in the picture above).
