2014 Hyundai Santa Fe Receives New Updates in South Korea

Hyundai updates the Santa Fe coinciding with the launch of the next generation Genesis Sedan, with a light improves the purpose of keeping fresh until next-gen due to 2015-early 2016.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:5px;”]Currently this changes will be available only in South Korea from now. Not confirmed yet that this improvements come to the U.S. and other overseas markets, but is expected that the global Santa Fe receive the same changes.

In the engine side, for the local market continue using two CRDi R-Engine family engines. With 2.0 and 2.2-liter engines delivering a total output of 184 and 200 hp. In other markets Hyundai also offered a 2.0-liter Turbo with GDi (gasoline direct injection) with 264 hp.

For the South Korean market there are also available a tune kit by TUIX. The Santa Fe TUIX features sporty and unique designs. It has front, rear and side skirts all designed to disperse air flowing under the car so as to improve traction. It dons a stylish waistline molding, new plates, Sport Suspension kit and 19-inch tires with two-tone OZ wheels plus Brembo perforated discs.

Major updates are:

  • New Genesis inspired exterior mirrors with LED.
  • New rear spoiler.
  • Shark fin-type anntena.
  • New exterior colour: Glacier.
  • (LDWS) Lane Departure Warning System with front camera.
