A performance version of the Hyundai i40 is under consideration alongside a new Hyundai i30 hot hatch, a senior company executive has confirmed. Allan Rushforth, Hyundai Europe’s chief operations officer, said at the launch of the all-new i30 that Hyundai had to act on its rapid expansion in Europe with models that extended beyond its budget roots.

Past week, we showed the new spy shots of the future Kia cee’d II. Today, is turn for his brother, the 2012 Hyundai i30 II. You can se light cammo, day-driving LED lights similar to the once we have seen on the new i40 and the whole frontend looks like a smaller version of the i40/Elantra, and thats its a good thing.
A few months before starting her sales, the Hyundai i40 CW was hunted “on the wild” in South Korea. The new korean’s automaker crossover wagon, they will on sale on third quarter 2011, will be available on Europe with a known 1.6 GDi with 138 horsepower and a new 2.0 GDi “Nu” with 177 horsepower, and of course, with diesel CRDi engines.

Designed and engineered at Hyundai’s European R&D centre in Rüsselsheim, the 4740mm long Hyundai i40 four-door saloon will reach Europe showrooms in early 2012, around six months after the five-door estate showcased at the recent Geneva Motor Show.
Surfing the web, i found the first official teaser of the future Hyundai i40 Sedan. For the moment, not much information, but the sedan version are available with two GDi gasoline engines and two CRDi diesel engines like her brother, the i40 Crossover Wagon.
