Hyundai will present the WRC- World Rally Championship specification based Hyundai i20 during the 2012 Paris Motor Show which is on 27 th September. The European headquarters at Offenbach, Germany, will be developing with this.

Hyundai ha puesto la primera piedra de lo que será su primera fábrica en el gigante sudamericano, Brasil. La construcción de esta fábrica es parte de un proyecto mucho más ambicioso, que tiene como objetivo un 10% de cuota de mercado en 2013. La planta en Piracicaba será responsable de la producción tanto de modelos específicos (se habla de un i15, un modelo de bajo coste por debajo del i20), como ya conocidos, de Hyundai para el mercado brasileño.

Poco a poco iremos conociendo mas y mas detalles del futuro Rio. Previsto para mediados de 2011, hoy os traemos nuevas fotos espía, esta vez de la versión 5 puertas o “Hatch”. Basado en la plataforma usada en el Hyundai i20, incorporara motores gasolina (1.4 y 1.6) y diesel (1.4 y 1.7). El nuevo Rio esta diseñado por el equipo del centro de diseño que el Grupo Hyundai-Kia tiene en Rüsselsheim (Alemania), lo que nos hace pensar de que nos encontraremos con un vehículo totalmente “a la europea”. Esperemos que pronto Kia nos desvele mas datos, mientras, seguiremos imaginando el diseño de este coche tras las capas de camuflaje.
