Hyundai Motor’s Grandeur Diesel passed the 1,800 mark in pre-order sales. Since the releasing of Grandeur Diesel, the overall sales of Grandeur lineups also showed an upward trend. Hyundai Motor held a test driving event for the media on July 2 at the Jack Nicklaus golf club in Songdo, Incheon.
[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]Hyundai Motor explained that the pre-order sales of Grandeur Diesel broke the 1,800 level on June 30, just 20 days after the launch of the pre-order sales on June 9. Backed by the releasing of Grandeur Diesel, the overall sales of Grandeur lineups also increased.
The overall sales of Grandeur models, which stood at 7,934 units in the first five months of this year, rose 16 percent in June alone, reaching 9,223 units.
The newly released Grandeur Diesel is mounted with an R2.2 E-VGT clean diesel engine, an upgraded version of the 2.2-liter R-Engine. It features a maximum output of 202hp and a maximum torque of 45.0kg.m, with a fuel efficiency of 14 kilometers per liter.
