Kia Motors is riding high on the brisk demand for its new mini-van Carnival which is selling about 400 units per day this month, showing signs of overtaking the Morning as Kia Motors’ best-selling model.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:5px;”]Kia Motors retrofitted its plant’s productionline in Gwangmyeong in Gyeonggi Province which has been engaged in the production of Carnival, Pride, and K9, toward focusing more on Carnival. Kia Motors released the 3G Carnival last month, nine years after it launched the 2G model in 2006.

A Kia Motors official said, “The sales of the Carnival for the period from July 1 to 15 reached 4,700 units. If this trend continues, this month’s Carnival sales are projected to exceed 8,000 units. As the popularity of outdoor activities including camping grows, Carnival is enjoying higher-than-expected sales.”

If the sales of the New Carnival pass the 8,000 mark this month, it would become Kia Motors’ best-selling model. Last month’s best-selling model was the Morning which was sold 7,301 units.
