In the year 2013 Hyundai started with the mass production of the first Fuel-cell car, the Hyundai ix 35 Fuel-cell.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:6px;”]This leads to a big advantage in this new technology and gave Hyundai the title of “world leader in hydrogen fuel cell technology”.

Since Hyundai is improving his cars and alternatives drives, like the new ioniq or in form of the N 2025 Vision Gran Turismo concept, hyundai starts to spread their knowledge to new models in the lineup.

This time they give their focus on the commercial vehicle side and the new H350. The new H350 fuel cell has a 175 litre hydrogen tank which can be filled like a normal gasoline engine and in under four minutes. This gives him an respectable range of 422 km and the best part about it is, it only emits water. This is the first time a company presented a fuel cell in a commercial vehicle and shows the benefits of the fuel cell technique.

The H350 has an 100 kw (136hp) engine and let the bus accelerate to around 150 km/h without noises. The Engine and tanks of the vehicle are build into the floor and give the 14 passengers no restriction on luggage or space. This means there are no drawbacks compared to other engines like diesel or gasoline.

We hope Hyundai let the H350 not be an concept car only, this kind of powertrain solution can help to reduce the enviromental pollution especially in urban areas and overal with no drawbacks.
