Yesterday we got the first pictures of Kia’s big-size SUV Telluride, which were caught fully undisguised and now thanks to AutoTribune we can see how it looks from the front end and from different angles, now in higher quality.[ads id=”9″]
Kia has tried to transform the same muscular exterior design we have seen on the Telluride concept car to a production car, and this make it appear radically different than any other Kia currently on sale.
Key aspects of the Telluride concept‘s design included its square shape, rectangular front grille, pumped up arches and chrome window trimmings. Telluride offers a look at Kia’s crossover future.
Despite Kia has not used the the same headlights design if we compare between the final design of Telluride and the concept car. The front on this new pictures looks good and bold while the LED stripes were moved down the front bumper. Similarities between the concept and production will continue, as we can see on this spy pictures, on the chromed doors line or the tailights.
To ensure the vehicle appeals to SUV customers with a slightly less generous budget, a number of lower-end trims and a simple and intuitive infotainment system are also be offered.
It is still not sure about what Kia put underpinning of Telluride, a front-wheel drive platform or shared the rumored K9 platform (as a recent report) with optional HTRAC AWD system. Same 3.3 Twin Turbo engine and 8-speed automatic transmission will be available.
