After Kia revealed the next generation K3 GT hatchback model, they also mentioned that it will be a Sport version of the sedan too, the Forte GT, and here we have the first official pictures of the Kia Forte GT Sedan.[ads id=”9″]
A few months ago we have spotted a test mule of the Forte wearing a dual exhaust pipe and and then we got an information founded by SHM blogger on Kia’s Online Maintenance Manual were the models appeared.
Following what Kia said at the time of reveal, we were awaiting for a powerful next-gen Kia Forte and according to this spy picture, we have caught it! Kia will launch a K3 GT Hatchback model (which was already showcased) alongside this Forte GT Sedan.

With a 1.6 T-GDi engine with a final output of 204 hp, will be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT transmission for the first time. Not sure if it will arrive into the US-market with the two transmission options.
With a dual muffler and a black painted rear bumper, the Forte on the picture above was spotted parked in a South Korean street wearing test car registration plate (which is the same as the normal south korean car, but the only different of two red stripes crossing it)..

Exterior changes continues with a black painted high gloss black exterior mirror covers, GT side seals molding and the 18-inch alloy wheels with red details.
The interior will share a D-cut steering wheel, and a few red stitches have been applied throughout the interior. Seats, gear knob and door trim were finished using red stitching. The GT logo is engraved on the back of the front seats. The GT logo was also engraved on the passenger’s side dashboard and is backlit.
