Hyundai Santa Fe LWB Unveiled, Only for China?

At the 2018 Guangzhou Auto Show, Beijing Hyundai unveiled the new Santa Fe which has a few differences between with the Santa Fe we already known and other interesting features like a fingerprint access & start of the engine.

Based on the new Santa Fe launched in South Korea this year, the Santa Fe is an strategic model and Hyundai along to Beijing Motor decided to adapt the design and other features of the SUV to engage with the needs of consumers in China.

The overall appearance was grand and charismatic. In detail, it has a luxurious and sophisticated style through a wide cascading grille with hexagonal pattern, detachable composite light, and a futuristic rear lamp.

The wheelbase has grown by 100mm in order to have enough room for interior comfort and more space for cargo. Another difference is the rear end design who had suffered a big change with a new C-pilar, tailgate and tailights. I’m sure we have published spy pictures of this model, check here.

Beijing Hyundai have applied the latest features, with a fingerprint authentication access and start-up system, which is the first to open and close doors and start up the car. The vehicle door can be opened and closed without a key, and the seat and outside mirrors are automatically adjusted according to the driver’s setting.

In addition to this, latest passenger notification function (ROA)  safe off-go assistance (SEA) Bidu Duer OS speech recognition  smart phone wireless charging system and the latest safety and convenience features were applied.

Beijing Hyundai said, “Hyundai has been constantly challenging and innovating to meet the ever-changing needs of its customers, and is at the center of it.” “With its state-of-the-art convenience and safety specifications, I am confident that it will cause a new blast. “

It is not confirmed yet if Hyundai will sell this variant just for China of it will be available in other overseas markets.
