We already have seen a lot of spy pictures and information about next-gen 2020 Hyundai Sonata, the 8th gen, and even the confirmation for NY AutoShow launch and the inclusion of the Digital Key, but today we have new proofs about the interior design and Digital Key Menu.

The new Hyundai Sonata created a lot of controversy on its exterior design, while people are comparing its rear tailights with the Honda Civic model, other people like it. I’ll wait to see the official pictures from better angles to give a verdict.
Inside we have already seen the new “Shift by wire” gear controls premiered on the Palisade, and looks like its going to be added as standard for other Hyundai models when customers choose Automatic Transmission, as we also seen this system on the Grandeur facelift picture yesterday.
On the picture above, we can see that the steering wheel will have a “peculiar” design, somehow could remain in a mix of what we have seen on the Sonata YF and recently on the Genesis GV80 spy shots.

Another surprise were the camera found on the top of the windshield that according to our sources could be a “Black Box” a system that will record everything while driving. This system is very popular in South Korea, so maybe could be only available there or expand to overseas markets.
The picture that tops this post shows the same 7″ inch floating type touchscreen system for the infotainment system, and now we can confirm there are also a widescreen infotainment sytem, probably with 10,25 inch size, that shows the menu of Digital Key, to be premiered on the all-new Hyundai Sonata.
Also, Hyundai’s South Korea Instagram account has published a countdown to publish something new about Hyundai Sonata, that ends at 00:30 CET (Europe), 7:30pm EST (New York) and 4:30pm PST (Los Angeles).
