What we know so far?

An article from AutoPostKorea is talking about some new changes to the Kia Stinger Facelift will be adding. Kia has launched the 2020 Stinger recently, including new trims like the GT-Line, that for only $100 extra comes more loaded than the exiting Base trim, and this will be its third year since the Stinger came out for production so that means its soon to receive a facelift.

Reports says we should expect the facelift around July next year. On December Kia posted their sales for the month of November and the Stinger sales is slowly decreasing from 1,173 units last year to 1,057 units in 2019. Year to date sales for 2019 we have 12,827 but 2018 sales were as high as 15,517.

Now we know, as far as performance wise, based from the Hyundai Sonata and soon Kia Optima the new Drive Wise has been applied to the 2.0 Turbo gasoline and 2.2 Diesel engines. So we can expect this to be applied in some form at the facelift Stinger.

With the 3.3 Twin-turbo, it’ll come with new features such as headlight adjustment with the turn of the steering wheel and a new driver’s bolster control system with the switch to Sport Mode (something seen at the Genesis G70).

What can we expect for the facelift?

Now with the interior it’s said the Dark Red Pack interior, which was only available for the 3.3 Turbo Gasoline GT model, could be also available for the 2.0 Turbo Gasoline and 2.2 Diesel Platinum models.
