Apart from the interior design, the front and rear also receives changes, in the front and rear bumpers as well as the front grille changed from the Korean-spec K5. The wheelbase is 50mm longer, and the overall lenght is 75mm longer.

Also the powertrain sheet has leaked too and show new engines, like the 1.5 T-GDi recently debuted on the i30 facelift now with 170 hp or a 2.0 T-GDi with 240 hp. Both engines are available with 7-speed DCT and 8-speed AT trasmission.

Both versions had rear LED indicators that in this case are red and the 1.5 Turbo and 2.0 Turbo had different rear bumpers, the first with fake chromed double exhaust while the 2.0 Turbo uses the same as the K5 GT, a quad exhaust system.

There are also a real-life interior pictures where we can see the big differences between regular and chinese K5. The first and the most notable is the one-piece glass infotainment system that looks more like a floating-type tablet system compared to the Korean version.
