Today we want to share with you what looks like the very first official pictures of the 5th generation Hyundai Santa Fe, known internally as MX5. It is expected to be released tomorrow morning.

The Santa Fe feature a sleek and modern design with bold lines and a prominent front grille. It will offers a spacious and comfortable interior with seating for up to seven passengers, depending on the configuration, it will be available also in a 6-seat luxury variant.

The new generation of Hyundai’s popular SUV will carry over its current engine line-up, including gasoline, hybrid and plug-in hybrid powertrains. The exact engine choices may vary depending on the specific model and region.  Hyundai will equips the Santa Fe with a variety of advanced features and technology. This includes infotainment systems with 12-inch displays, smartphone integration (Apple CarPlay and Android Auto), safety features like blind-spot view monitor and lane-keeping assist, and available upgrades such as panoramic sunroof, premium audio systems, and more.

It is expected that the next-gen Hyundai’s mid-sized SUV offers a comfortable and an upgraded smooth ride, with increase interior space and leg room. Hybrid variants will provide improved fuel efficiency, combining electric and gasoline power.

After the camouflage was removed in this first official pictures, despite it looks like a Korean version of the Land Rover Defender, a car that has been seen as a comparison vehicle in both Korea and Germany, now if you take a closer look it has its own personality. Taking a look inside you will also feel that inspiration but at the same time it looks like an upscaled Kona. Hyundai decided to go upmarket with the new Santa Fe since the sales of the current model has not been what they expected, with the Kia Sorento outselling the Santa Fe. So what do you think, it will get back as Korean SUV best seller?
