On behalf of IONIQ 5 facelift debut today, Hyundai take advantage to also launch a new IONIQ 6 Black Edition model. The new trim is available from today in South Korea and it is still unknown if it will be offered overseas.
It is a specialized design package that expresses the sophisticated beauty of black by applying black colored 20-inch matte wheel, front and rear bumper lower molding, side sill molding, outside mirror cover or front mat emblem.
The Black Edition can be selected starting from the Exclusive Plus trim. Exterior colors can be selected from the new colors like Nocturne Gray Matte, Abyss Black Pearl or Serenity White Pearl, and interior colors can only be selected in black monotone.
Hyundai Motor Company lowered the price of the 2024 IONIQ 6 in line with the launch of the Black Edition, lowering the purchase burden on customers.
The selling price is based on the price after electric vehicle tax benefits: Standard model Exclusive KRW 50 million (US $37,500), Long Range model E-Lite KRW 50.6 million (US $38,000), Exclusive KRW 54.05 million (US $40,600), Exclusive Plus KRW 55.75 million (US $41,900), Prestige KRW 59.35 million won (US $44,600).
