This IONIQ 5 N is not just a show car, it is a highly modified electric car that is road legal and built by Neotech, Korean long-established shop and famous tuner. With its wider fender flares and lowered stance from the regular Ioniq 5, the 5N is already menacing from the outside.
However, the team at Neotech took things a notch higher with a fully customized front lip, side skirts and diffuser. The Ioniq 5N also features a drift mode straight out of the showroom, but it was lacking a handbrake lever to initiate the perfect 10 drift.
As a company that manufactures high performance brakes, a rear 4 pot caliper with 30mm all-round pistons, clamp those massive 380mm ventilated disc to stop this 2,300kg beast. Additional brake cylinder, lever and oil line was customized to complete the drift package.
Launched in SEMA 2023, the Neotech EVO 6R was made to go lighter, stop faster and look better. Utilizing titanium on the EVO 6R’s piston, machining away edges just to reduce rotational mass and high performance copper free pads (To continue doing it’s part for environment), were fitted on the front of this Ioniq 5N.
400mm full-floating disc, with anti-rattle springs, ensured sufficient surface area for even heat dissipation. 20” custom N-Forged wheels wrapped in Nankang AR-1 gives it the grip to achieve the 2:08:XX at the Yongin Everland Speedway.
Being the first in Korea to develop their own inverted mono-tube suspension, all eyes were looking at them to come up with the first kit. Thus, it is fitted with their top of the line RN Coilover. With a fully redesigned 1 piece coilover at the rear which features pillow-ball and camber adjustable top mounts, 1 knob for both rebound and compression adjustment and undercarriage upgrades with re-engineered Lower Control Arm.
