Genesis is already working on the updated GV70 Sport US-spec model and our colleagues at KindelAuto captured the updated SUV in California. This is the first time we can see the updated SUV only with front and back camouflage while the rest of the car is completely undisguised.

Spy Shots and Design Speculations

These spy shots reveal a prototype shrouded in camouflage. Despite the secrecy, certain upgrades are discernible. The GV70 facelift appears to boast new headlight graphics, mirroring the design language of the G80. Additionally, enthusiasts can look forward to refreshed front and rear bumper designs and an array of new alloy wheels.

Powertrain and Performance Upgrades

Under the hood, expectations are set for continuity with minor enhancements. The current powertrain lineup is likely to receive subtle fine-tuning, focusing on heightened efficiency. Key improvements may include a more robust battery pack in the Electrified GV70 model, boosting its electric range. Following the trajectory set by the GV80 facelift, the inclusion of a mild-hybrid (MHEV) option may also be in the cards, potentially replacing the diesel variant.

Interior Innovations

Inside, the GV70 is poised to mirror its sibling, the GV80 facelift, in adopting a state-of-the-art 27-inch OLED display. This feature is expected to elevate the in-cabin experience, marking a significant leap in automotive interior design.

Anticipated Release and Global Availability

The release timeline for the GV70 facelift remains under wraps, though projections point towards a Summer 2024 debut in South Korea. North American and European markets are anticipated to welcome this revamped model by the end of 2024.

Conclusion: The Future of Luxury SUVs

As the automotive community buzzes with anticipation, the question remains: What more can we expect from the updated GV70? With its blend of luxury, innovation, and cutting-edge design, the Genesis GV70 facelift is set to redefine expectations in the luxury SUV segment. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to track the evolution of this exciting model.
