WardsAuto’s Esteemed Recognition

Since 1995, WardsAuto, a leading American automotive publication, has been selecting the top engines and propulsion systems, often referred to as the “Oscars” of the automotive powertrain industry. With the rapid advancement of electrification, the awards were renamed in 2019 to include propulsion systems, reflecting the evolving landscape of automotive technology.

In its 30th year, WardsAuto evaluated 34 powertrains from new vehicles sold in the U.S., assessing performance, efficiency, and technological innovation to select the top 10.
