Hyundai Motor America (HMA) has taken the motorsports world by storm with the unveiling of its all-new Elantra N1 TC Evo race car at Sonoma Raceway. This next-generation race car is set to debut in the SRO Touring Car (TC) America series in March 2025, reinforcing Hyundai’s position as a leader in performance and innovation. The car’s first race will take place at the TC America series opener at Sonoma Raceway, where Hyundai aims to defend its 2024 TC Driver’s, Team, and Manufacturer’s Championships.

Hyundai N Trophy Cup: A Championship Within a Championship

In addition to debuting the Elantra N1 TC Evo, Hyundai will introduce the Hyundai N Trophy Cup, a unique competition that runs parallel to the TC America series. This “championship within a championship” allows Hyundai entrants to compete exclusively against one another while also contending in the broader TC America series. Its advanced chassis includes KW 2-way adjustable dampers and a front e-LSD for optimal performance. The vehicle is further fortified with a welded 8-point roll cage, ensuring safety while complying with SRO standards.
