With over 25,000 square meters of new facilities, thanks to a new building in the European Technical Center and the expansion of the Nürburgring test area. Expanding Facilities at Nürburgring

A cornerstone of Hyundai’s R&D capabilities is its facility at Nürburgring. The Group has spent over a decade refining durability testing at this iconic location, establishing a dedicated test center in 2013. The latest expansion adds 834 square meters of state-of-the-art testing infrastructure.

New features include:

  • Workshop Areas: Enhanced spaces for vehicle preparation and diagnostics.
  • Specialized Laboratories: Equipped for detailed analysis and innovation.
  • High-Voltage EV Charging Capabilities: Supporting the development of advanced electric vehicles (EVs).

Launching the Square Campus

The Group’s commitment to innovation continues with the upcoming opening of the new Square Campus at the Hyundai Motor Europe Technical Center in March 2025. Located in the Rhine-Main region, this 25,000-square-meter facility is poised to set new benchmarks in the automotive industry.

  • Europe’s Largest Four-Wheel NVH Dynamometer: Designed to test noise, vibration, and harshness under various conditions.
