2012 디트로이트 오토쇼에서 데뷔할 것으로 보이는 최신 한국 자동차 제조사의 SUV, 2013 산타페가 독일 뤼셀스하임에 있는 현대-기아 유럽 센터에서 처음으로 유럽에서 포착됐다.
유럽에서는 ix45로 불릴 가능성이 높은 이 새로운 현대 SUV는 현대적인 제안으로 인기 있는 중형 크로스오버 세그먼트의 공백을 메우기 위해 양 대륙에 출시된다. 실제로 현대는 해당 시장에서 기존 산타페와 베라크루즈/ix55를 판매했다.
이름은 다르지만 유럽 및 북미 사양 ix45/산타페는 기본 스타일링을 공유하며 약간의 트림 차이와 기계적 하드웨어만 다를 예정이다. 유럽 사양에는 2.0리터 가솔린 엔진과 4기통 디젤 유닛이 탑재되며 6단 수동/자동 변속기가 제공된다. 미국 사양에는 우선 현대-기아 그룹의 여러 모델에 사용된 201마력의 2.4 세타 II GDi 엔진이 탑재된다.

If you go to the picture linked, there is a picture recently snapped by Motor Trend in HKAG's Namyang facility. Parked there is an unfamiliar CUV. Could it be the New Rondo? New Santa Fe? Maybe post it and see what others think.....
New Santa Fe for Europe too? I think that unless Hyundai makes good advertisement and puts good prices it won't be the worth enough to sell it in Europe; but in the other hand, I'm sure that it'll be well sold in USA.
