Autotimes.co.kr 사이트를 통해 Autotimes.co.kr에서 2013년형 기아 씨드 5도어의 새로운 스파이샷이 한국에서 포착됐다. 새로운 K3(한국명)는 패밀리 그릴을 적용하고 현대 i30와 플랫폼을 공유한다.
씨드 II는 새로운 GDi 및 CRDi 디젤 엔진 라인업과 6단 수동 및 자동 변속기(듀얼 클러치 6단 자동 변속기 가능성)와 함께 제공된다. 향후 기아는 핫 해치 버전을 계획 중이라고 Autocar가 보도했다.

if it occurs as the new rio, this future cee'd/k3 be sold in Korea, Europe and USA, not like now, in Europe sold cee'd, and America/Asia sold Forte/Cerato.
