Hyundai Motor Launched All-New Sonata Taxi in South Korea

On August 20, Hyundai Motor released New Sonata Taxi which features an improvement in driving safety and comfort.

[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]The newly-released Sonata Taxi has highly reinforced frames by using more ultra-high tensile steel, with its compound fuel efficiency estimated at 9.6 kilometers per liter (for automatic transmission), up 3.2 percent compared to that of its previous version.

The Sonata Taxi uses the same frame as the Sonata sedan which acquired the highest grade in the collision test conducted last month by the International Institute for Highway Safety.

Sonata Taxi will use a Nu 2.0-liter LPi engine which has a maximum output of 151hp and a maximum torque of 19.8 kg.m.With an ergonomic design, this model will employ a front-wheel six-speed automatic transmission as a basic option.

The model offers a wider interior space with the width of the wheelbase being extended by 1 centimeter compared to the previous version.
