Updated with first official exterior pictures.
We start the week with an spy shots post. Today is the turn for the Kia’s full-size luxury sedan, the K9. Caught in South Korea completely naked, the new K9 (that’s the definitive nomenclature, just look the seats) also caught up moving in a video.
It shares its underpinnings with the rear-wheel-drive platform used by the Hyundai Genesis/Equus. The same engine line-up is likely to be passed on as well which means we should see a choice of three engine options.
The entry level unit is a 3.8-liter V6 engine that generates 333hp, whilst there are two V8 options. The range topper has a displacement of 5.0-liters, using GDi, pumps out 429 hp. It will still be a few months before final production details are released about the K9.
