Courtesy of MegaAuto.com, today we can see a complete picture gallery (including the interior) of the new 2012 Kia K9. The all-new K9 features Kia’s new full-size luxury sedan including the last evolution of Kia’s design language (Tiger Nose) and the more power and efficient V6 GDi engines.

The Korean-market K9 is fitted with 3.3 V6 gasoline direct injection engine (GDi) up to 300-horsepower and the other V6 GDi 3.8-liter engine with 350 hp. For the moment, the new K9 only will be available in South Korea with this engines (nothing about the rumored V8). Kia already confirmed that will not be available in Europe. Nothing confirmed about the US-market. Sales in South Korea starts during Spring. Enjoy the gallery.

I am NOT a fan of the K9. I believe Kia made a mistake producing this mixed up BMW/Aston Martin/Genesis wanna-be luxury sedan. Sure, it will do better sales wise in Korea and China but ultimately, they should have scrapped it’s design and gone with the more original and bold GT instead.

Kia USA will not bring the K9 to America for the moment. First they have to try and sell the K7/Cadenza (terrible name) here when it’s redesigned. I prefer the K7 design over the K9 because it’s more original and doesn’t look like other vehicles.

Again, shame on Kia for making the K9 instead of the GT. Grow some balls!

Yes Kia missed a great opportunity to take the Genesis chassis and produce a production version of the GT.

My suggestion to Kia is this: Let your German design studio do ALL your cars. Period.

Wow this K9 has some kit on it. Just look at what the rear passengers get in the armrest!

I’m agree with you JG, I prefer the K7, is more original. I think that Kia with this K9 had to be more risk, but also understand that risk in this segment can be a big fail.

Inside looks too cheap to compete with Audi.
