Hyundai will be showing at next month’s Geneva Motor Show the more spacious Grand Santa Fe. After bringing the U.S.-spec three-row Santa Fe to the Los Angeles Auto Show late 2012, Hyundai is preparing the launch of its European counterpart.
The Grand Santa Fe is 10mm taller, 5mm wider and 225mm longer than the regular Euro-spec Santa Fe and has a 100mm longer wheelbase. As a result, it offers a best-in-class 607-liter cargo capacity and can be configured with six or seven seats.
It will be available exclusively with a 2.2-liter CRDi diesel engine producing 197 HP (145 kW) linked to a 6-speed automatic gearbox which will enable the seven-seat SUV to have CO2 emissions of 192 g/km. The car will ride on 18- or 19-inch alloys and feature a different grille, front bumper, fog lights and larger rear quarter.
