With the latest spy pictures we showed you yesterday, we saw again the interior of the new Sportage, but at the same time, we realized that the model under the camo has something different than we already saw in all the pictures we received from South Korea.
And yeah, the difference are in the fog lights area, where the Korean model was scooped with an air intake followed with the 4 ice-cubed LED lights, while the European model spotted yesterday use a fog headlight and bigger air intake.

So, if you can remember that Kia launched the new K5 (called as Optima in overseas markets) under two different labels, called as MX (Modern Extrem) & SX (Sport Extreme), we are thinking about if Kia will use the same solution for the 2016 Sportage.
Apart from that, the more I look this new Sportage, the more I think will be so similar to the KX3 front than a Kia Sorento. Just look to the small grille compared with the Sorento’s bigger grille and similar to the KX3. That’s why I decided to create this picture to clarify more the look on the next-gen Sportage. Also the headlight are so similiar to the KX3, combined with that 3-led light we saw on the Optima and the chromed bars under the fog lights closely to what we saw in the Rio facelift.
What do you think? Could Kia succeed again with the new Sportage, or could fail with this new reinterpretation of a total hit in terms of sales and brand image achieved by Kia since they launched the current Sportage?
