Kia Motors will reveal its all-new Kia Sportage for the first time in South Korea in a few days and globally on September 15th at the 2015 Frankfurt International Motor Show, but until that, we received from South Korea the first official pictures of the 4th gen Sportage.
[ads id=”0″ style=”float:left;padding:9px;”]Entering its fourth-generation, the all-new Kia Sportage features a bold, progressive design, which exudes power and agility from every angle. The dynamic compact SUV styling creates visual harmony out of the tension between bold, precise feature lines and dramatically-sculptured bodywork.
Inside, the all-new Kia Sportage marries simple, modern style with rich material quality for Kia’s most refined, highest-quality cabin to date.
With the design of the new model led by the brand’s European design centre – located in Frankfurt – the all-new Sportage represents the future face of Kia.
Inside, the 2016 Kia Sportage, will have an identical steering wheel compared to the All-New Optima, while the car is using a big centered dashboard, with a 8 inch Infinity infotainment system heading the dashboard.
The dashboard design in the 2016 Kia Sportage is very similar to the latest Sorento & Sedona (the air vents looks closer to the Sorento, but at this time the screen hasn’t have that floating effect), and are inserted into the dashboard like in the latest generation Sedona.
Looks okay but impress me by offering the 2.0T engine from the last generation not the 1.6T with no thrills.
Then you can move up to the KIA Sorento.
I’m not sure why they put the 2.0T engine into the 3G Sportage (maybe to differentiate itself from the Tucson as the more sportier model) but the Sportage will be just like the Tucson. It will have a 1.6T engine.
I’m agree with you Galaxium, the 3G Sportage uses 2.0 T-GDi in South Korea and North America while the Tucson were not offered with this engine. Hope they continue using this, but I’m sure the Sportage SX from South Korean spec will use 2.0 T-GDi

Interior pic shows that Kia is able to integrate the LCD screen better than german luxury brands.
The front end look awkward at those angles.
Should keep the 2.0T to differentiate from the Tucson as Kia is supposed to be the “sportier” brand.
Yes, they must keeo the 2.0T.
Now it lools more like Toyota Rav4?!
