During this week Kia Motors Co. has officially unveiled the updated Ray key-car in South Korea.

Very recognizable due to his peculiar design, the facelifted model has a several updates like a new front fascia with a revised grille (now including autonomous emergency brake, new circular fog lights, and restyled headlights with integrated LED daytime running lights.

A modified rear bumper, updated taillights, and new 15-inch alloy wheels will follow exterior changes. A variety of customization options will be available including two-tone body colours.

From the inside, slight changes appeared, like a new steering wheel, revised infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay capability. An interesting feature is a new pet-friendly package that includes a removable cage, a rear seat cover, and a “fence” that separates the first and second row.

Kia will use an improved 1.0-liter Kappa petrol engine that produces78 hp (57 kW). Nothing confirmed yet about the EV variant.
