A few months ago we have spotted a test mule of the Forte wearing a dual exhaust pipe and and then we got an information founded by SHM blogger on Kia’s Online Maintenance Manual.
Following what Kia said at the time of reveal, we were awaiting for a powerful next-gen Kia Forte and according to this spy picture, we have caught it! Kia will launch a K3 GT Hatchback model (which was already showcased) alongside this GT Sedan.
With a 1.6 T-GDi engine with a final output of 204 hp, will be offered with a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DCT transmission.

With a dual muffler and a black painted rear bumper, the Forte on the picture above was spotted parked in a South Korean street wearing test car registration plate (which is the same as the normal south korean car, but the only different of two red stripes crossing it).
