What we know so far?

When we initially told you about the new name the Kia Optima will change to, it was a surprise we all received and for the most part it went well. Later we received information about the engines the new K5 should be coming to the USA, these were the 1.6t engine with an output of 180 Horsepower with the 8-speed DCT as well as the 2.5T engine with an output of 290 horsepower with the 8-speed DCT. These were some exciting news.

We now can confirm the 1.6T engine with AWD will now be know as the GT-Line. We recently saw Kia Motors Worldwide post a picture of the K5 with this badge. The GT-Line its not the only trim to receive the AWD option, we can spot the LXS trim will offer the AWD option

WTH, and Hyundai sits on their thumb with the Sonata N-line release. Been following it for 9 months now, getting more than a little aggravated with them…

I purchased a 2013 Kia Optima. There is no sound coming from.speakers.i took to dealer stated 800 to replace radio..I said 800 dollars..but the radio still works ( well lit up) just no sound for bluetooth or navigation nor phone calls or music..I searched the web there are over 72000 thousand complaints about no sound from stereo with Kia vehicles..I reported to their consumer line to see if they can help me fix this problem..they were very rude and told me No.we will not look into this nor help with repairs..the dealer stated this is known problem..cause I ask why wouldn’t you diagnose it first..following protocol..he said Kia system are put in poorly and water damaged the system..I was floored..its been 3 months..I can do my door dash job cause no sound..no one is willing to help nor look into from Kia company..over 72000 complaints..this sounds like a recall..I’m in USA Cleveland oh..I need my sound fix on kia Optima. The consumer line turned me down..over 70 thousands complaints about no sound working in these cars. I can’t afford 800 dollars to fix sound at dealer..13663196 is case nbr
