The undisguised Hyundai Kona N was photographed during a official video shooting around the Nürburgring. It is no coincidence that Hyundai chooses this location for official video recordings, after all, the Hyundai Kona N was developed very intensively there and is therefore at home at the Nürburgring.
The license plate “HN 0280” most likely stands for Hyundai N and the 280 is an indication of the output of 280 hp. The effort of the camera team was very high. Roads were blocked and a large number of vehicles and stewards were used to shield the undisguised model.
Every 150 meters there were stewards along the street where they were filming and these people always had an eye on the area. Video production people were even positioned in adjacent forests. The car itself was wrapped in black foil for most of the time and was only unpacked from the foil for the short time the video scenes were recorded.

The all-new KONA N combines the modern design of the recently launched new KONA with the bold and dynamic language of the company’s N models.
The all-new KONA N will be the latest addition to the Hyundai N family, Hyundai’s high-performance, motorsport-inspired line-up. It will also expand the successful Hyundai SUV family. It is expected that it will have a 2.0-liter T-GDi with 280 hp matted to the new 8-speed wet DCT and front wheel drive.
