genesis gv80 coupe rendering
A week ago we shared the latest pictures of the 2024 Genesis GV80 Coupe, that caught testing in Europe by SB-Medien, taken off most of his camouflage and revealing its production body for the first time and also shared a rendering of the front end by our colleagues at NYMammoth. but today we have a more interesting one, that corresponds to the rear design and there are surprises. According to NYMammoth rendering and unlike the concept car, the GV80 won’t have side-to-side taillights.

The new SUV Coupe will get a new grille design as well as new air intakes in the front bumper and a new design for the rims. The roofline is very different to the standard GV80 and looks much more sporty. The Genesis GV80 Coupe is expected to be launched for 2024 and will compete against the Porsche Cayenne Coupe, BMW X6 and Mercedes GLE Coupe.
Despite the rear design change, the new GV80 Coupe will also take advantage of the regular GV80 facelift to include some interesting changes and new features that we already spied it. Like for the example, the addition of a new 27″ inch OLED display.

In the powertrain side, it is known that the Coupe version will use the 3.5-liter Turbocharged engine with the particularity of using an electric supercharger, that rises the final output to 415 hp.

Compared to the regular GV80, that will also lose the 3.0 diesel engine, the Coupe will be offered only with the mentioned 3.5-liter gasoline engine, so it will be a very exclusive vehicle.
The four-passenger GV80 Coupe Concept adds a new facet to the Genesis brand. “It emphasizes the duality of the Genesis brand by showcasing the antagonistic character that lives within the Athletic and Elegance parameters of Genesis’ design philosophy,” said Luc Donckerwolke, Group Chief Creative Officer while showcasing the GV80 Coupe Concept.
Will Genesis honor the concept car and make the production vehicle very close to the concept or fail to do it? What do you expect about the coupe version of the GV80?
