Hyundai Motor announced on the 10th (Fri) that it will hold the ‘eN1 Class’ for the first time in the second round of the 2024 ‘Hyundai N Festival’, the largest one-make race competition in Korea, at Yongin Everland Speedway (located in Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi-do) from May 11 (Sat) to 12 (Sun).
The ‘eN1 Class’, which will be held for the first time in the second round, will feature the high-performance electric car IONIQ 5 N-based first one-make EV race car in Korea ‘IONIQ 5 eN1 Cup car’.
Designed with safety and weight first, the ‘IONIQ 5 eN1 cupcar’ features faster cornering speed and stability with dedicated lace parts (parts). With an enhanced air-performance appearance and amplified NAS+ (N Active Sound Plus), each team will provide each team’s unique virtual engine sound, bringing the audience a new joy unique to the EV One-Make Race. In addition, the virtual gear shift, N e-Shift, is available for real-world races, adding fun to the game.
This round, which is held in the form of a tournament with a total of 6 ‘IONIQ 5 eN1 cupcars’, will be an opportunity to meet top domestic drivers from Hyundai N Festival who are also from Hyundai N Festival, such as winner Park Jun-e’s (N1 class champion in 22), who won the N1 class champion in the 2022, winner of Nur 24 in the 2023, Kim Gyu-min (N1 class champion in the 23rd N1 class champion) in the Nur 24th, and player who participated in the Nur 24th in 2023 (runner-up in the N1 class runner-up in 2022).
In addition to the N Vision 74, WRC Rallyca exhibition, a variety of attractions and experience events will be held, including circuit taxis, racing simulators, children’s transportation experiences, and food trucks.

Hyundai Motor Company plans to provide ‘Hyundai N Festival’ live streaming service through various online channels such as YouTube and Naver TV so that customers who cannot participate directly in the field can enjoy the competition. Meanwhile, the 2024 ‘Hyundai N Festival’ will be operated separately by a total of 11 rounds until October, with 6 rounds of N Cup (Sprint Race) and 5 rounds of N TT (Time Trial). Sprint Race has been newly added to the existing ‘Avante N Cup (Pro Class, N1 Class)’, ‘Avante N Cup (Amateur Class, N2 Class)’, and the electric car class ‘eN1 Class’.
