At the end of March this year, Genesis gave car enthusiasts a thrilling preview of their upcoming Magma models with the GV60 Magma Concept. The luxury automaker showcased concepts based on the GV60, GV80, and G80, along with an exciting new sporty low coupe, the X Gran Berlinetta Concept.
Spotted: Genesis GV60 Production Mule
Recently, the first mule for the production version of the GV60 Magma was spotted driving around near the Nürburgring thanks to our colleagues at SH Proshots. This development brings Genesis one step closer to launching a vehicle that promises to blend performance with luxury.
The GV60 mule features a colorful orange body, hinting at the vibrant design language Genesis is adopting. However, the bumpers are still not the final production versions. Once the production bumpers are fitted, the GV60 will likely boast a much sportier appearance, closely aligning with the concept model.
At the back, the mule sports a modest duck tail spoiler, presumably for testing purposes. This differs from the more pronounced wing seen on the concept model. The final version may incorporate a design that offers a balance between aesthetics and aerodynamic performance.

Shared Powertrain with Hyundai Ioniq 5N
The production GV60 is expected to share its powertrain with the Hyundai Ioniq 5N. Observations reveal the presence of larger N-branded brakes behind the wheels, borrowed from the Ioniq 5N, signaling high performance capabilities.
Genesis is steadily advancing towards bringing their powerful new models to market. With the GV60 mule already in testing, car enthusiasts can look forward to a vehicle that merges cutting-edge design with impressive performance, further cementing Genesis’ reputation in the luxury automotive segment.
Stay tuned for more updates as Genesis continues to refine and perfect their upcoming models, promising a future of luxury and performance.
