Before becoming a major player in the worldwide motor car industry, KIA Motors traces its roots to Kyungsung Precision Industries, a humble steel tubing and bicycle parts manufacturer.
Today, in tune with modern days and looking for cleaner, sustainable ways of transportation, KIA launches the K-Velo range. This is the first ever bycicle lineup designed by Peter Schreyer, with clean and stylish lines that also feaures the ‘tiger nose’ design signature in the front basket, to mantain the brand identity even in these simple, basic products.
The K-Velo lineup is available in two form-factors: City (featuring a 11 speed gearing and dark grey metallic paint as standard) and Speed (with ultra lightweight structure and high-gloss silver paint). Both includes 20 inch multispoke wheels.
They’re already for sale in South Korea, at KIA Brand Collection, starting at about 1,2M Won, or 1,100 US$ at current exchange.
